CMID combines programming and research towards mainstreaming migrants and other marginalised sections of the society.
Our core objectives include:
- To commission and undertake research and academic training in relevant social issues independently or in association with the governments, bilateral and multilateral organisations, civil society organisations, academia, private sector or other relevant stakeholders;
- To design, pilot and implement programmes for mainstreaming as well as improving the quality of life of migrants and other vulnerable populations. Focus shall be to promote health and wellbeing, inclusive education, financial and cultural inclusion and facilitation of community empowerment;
- To provide technical support to governments and other relevant institutions in the formulation, refinement and implementation of strategies, policies and programmes that promote inclusive and sustainable development;
- To identify, review, document and disseminate locally and globally, promising practices that promote inclusive and sustainable development.
